The Security Lounge is a public site and a restricted access forum bringing together passionnate persons whose aim is to go To a cleaner Web..., cleared out malware and other threats, securized, to be given back to users with, at last, pleasure, serenity and liberty to navigate on it!

Our members' actions are related to treatment of infected systems:
- cleaning its infectious malware
- clearing any sign of our intervention
- explanations to the user about the cause of the infection, the flaws in the protection and all of the actions that were led
- possible optimization of general work of the system
- exam of the whole system to detect other security flaws
- setting/resetting necessary protections.
 Interventions go on with:
- information/training of users to prevent from new infections
- asking to spread information to their neighborhood (existence of help forums, prevention speech to stay apart from dangers of the Internet)
- invitation to tell their story on MalwareComplaints
- feed-back to other members
- permanent training about new threats, about improvements of our tools
- feed-back of information and files regarding difficulties and new variants to our developers.

- treatment of the user with patience, simplicity and deference; supply of any explanations
- treatment of damages even for non legit operating systems or in the presence of illicit programs
- research of improvements/extinction of symptoms as soon as possible
- only treatment of infectious elements; consent request for useless items
- only one advisor at a time on a subjet; no intervention by other members; priority to the most qualified advisor
- communication with other advisors on a private board or via personal mailing
- prior evaluation of the seriousness of the infection
- no single-blind destruction of any print of malware activity (thorough exam of anything to be deleted); salvation of new infectious files
- recommendation of tools corresponding to exact infections; no danger for the user's system, no unknown tool without prior trials; a recommended tool must have been used on the advisor's own computer
- consideration of remaining dangers; formatting, password change, information to the bank in case of a problem
- clear and patient training of users with prevention speech
- collaboration with other specialized security organizations
- feed-back toward other members and developers
- permanent training; constant watch.
